Three bean salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- can green beans - 1 lb
- can kidney beans - 1 lb
- can wax beans - 1 lb
How to make three bean salad:
Drain beans; add green pepper and onions. Heat vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and pepper, but do not boil. Pour dressing over vegetables and toss. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Serves 8 to 10. May add can of garbanzo beans to this (if desired). Can use red onion rings on top for a garnish.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Beans.
