Three-bean chili
Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 1 c
- ground cumin - 1 tsp
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cans tomatoes - 2 1/2
- medium green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- can kidney beans - 1 oz
- picante sauce - 1 c
- can pinto beans - 1 oz
- can black beans - 1 oz
How to make three-bean chili:
Rinse and drain beans; set aside. In a large pot, cook onion in oil until onion is tender, not brown. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, uncovered.
