Thai chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- oil - 6 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 7 Tbsp
- sesame seed
- grated fresh ginger root - 1/2 Tbsp
- rice vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- carrots, grated - 1/4 lb
- creamy peanut butter - 2 Tbsp
- chicken, cooked and chopped - 1/2 lb
- bunch chopped green onions - 1/2 item
- crushed red peppers - 1/4 tsp
- rotelle or rotini pasta
- pea pods add just before serving - 1/4 lb
How to make thai chicken salad:
Salad:8 oz. rotelle or rotini pasta1/4 lb. carrots, grated1/4 lb. pea pods (add just before serving)1 1/2 oz. sesame seed1/2 bunch chopped green onions1/2 lb. chicken, cooked and chopped Combine dressing ingredients. Cook pasta; drain. Combine pasta, carrots, sesame seed, onions and chicken. Combine dressing with chicken mixture. Cool. Fold in pea pods just before serving.
