Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- sticks margarine - 3 item
- cocoa - 8 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 2
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- nuts - 1/2 c
How to make texas sheet cake:
Bring to a boil the water with 2 sticks margarine and 4 tablespoons of cocoa. Sift into mixture the flour, sugar, salt and baking soda; beat until smooth. Add sour cream, eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour into greased sheet cake pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.Icing: Bring to a boil 1 stick margarine, 4 tablespoons cocoa and 6 tablespoons of milk. Add powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and nuts. Spread on cooled cake.
