  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 6 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 3 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • stick butter or margarine - 1 item
  • box 4x sugar - 1 item
  • oil or margarine - 1/2 c
  • Place in pan the water, oil, margarine and cocoa

How to make texas sheet cake:

Sift flour, sugar and salt (set aside). Place in pan the water, oil, margarine and cocoa. Bring mixture to a boil and remove from heat. Pour mixture over dry ingredients. Add eggs and beat. Mix in soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat for a minute. Pour in greased pan and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.Frosting:1 stick margarine6 Tbsp. milk3 Tbsp. cocoa1/2 c. nuts1 tsp. vanilla1 box 4x sugar Pour margarine, milk and cocoa in pan. Bring to a boil and remove from stove. Beat in sugar. Add nuts. Frost cake while still warm.
