Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- box 4x sugar - 1 item
- oil or margarine - 1/2 c
- Place in pan the water, oil, margarine and cocoa
How to make texas sheet cake:
Sift flour, sugar and salt (set aside). Place in pan the water, oil, margarine and cocoa. Bring mixture to a boil and remove from heat. Pour mixture over dry ingredients. Add eggs and beat. Mix in soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat for a minute. Pour in greased pan and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.Frosting:1 stick margarine6 Tbsp. milk3 Tbsp. cocoa1/2 c. nuts1 tsp. vanilla1 box 4x sugar Pour margarine, milk and cocoa in pan.
