Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- sticks butter - 2 item
- Icing:1 stick butter
How to make texas sheet cake:
Icing:1 stick butter1 tsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 lb. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped pecans Bring to boil butter, water and cocoa. Remove from heat and add flour, salt and sugar. Beat well, then add buttermilk, eggs and baking soda. Mix well and pour into greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.Icing: Bring to boil butter, cocoa and milk. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and pecans. Spread on cake while still hot.
