Ingredients/Components
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- granulated sugar - 2 c
- flour - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- sour cream - 1/4 c
- Bring oleo, water and cocoa to a boil
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar - 1 lb
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
How to make texas sheet cake:
Preheat oven to 375°. Bring oleo, water and cocoa to a boil. Pour into mixing bowl. Add sugar, flour, baking soda, eggs and sour cream. Pour into greased sheet pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.Frosting:1 stick oleo6 Tbsp. milk4 Tbsp. cocoa1 lb. confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped walnuts Bring to a boil the oleo, milk and cocoa.
