Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- chopped nuts optional - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- sour milk or 1/2 c - 1/2 c
- flour, not sifted - 2 c
- Remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients
How to make texas sheet cake:
Bring to a boil the margarine, water and cocoa. Remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients. Pour on a large greased cookie sheet with sides. Bake at 375° for 20 to 22 minutes. Ice immediately with the following.Icing:1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1 c. chopped nuts (optional)1 tsp. vanilla Bring to a boil the margarine, cocoa and milk.
