  • milk - 6 Tbsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • Frosting:1 stick margarine

How to make texas sheet cake:

Frosting:1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 lb. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts Bring to a boil, margarine, cocoa and water; remove from heat. Add flour, sugar, salt and baking soda; mix well. Then add eggs and sour cream. Bake about 22 minutes in a cookie sheet with sides (11 x 16 x 1 1/4-inch deep jelly roll pan) at 375° (do not overbake). Frosting is put on cake as soon as it comes from the oven.

Frosting: Bring margarine, cocoa and milk to a boil and remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts and pour over hot cake.
