Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- stick oleo - 1 item
- canned milk - 6 Tbsp
How to make texas sheet cake:
Frosting:4 Tbsp. cocoa1 stick oleo6 Tbsp. canned milk1 lb. box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. nuts Sift together the flour and sugar. In a saucepan, combine oleo, cocoa and water. Bring to a boil and pour over the flour mixture. Add water. Mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, cinnamon, soda and vanilla. Mix well and pour into a large cookie sheet, 11 x 17-inch, greased and floured. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.For the frosting, mix the cocoa, oleo and canned milk together in a pan. Bring to a boil. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Beat well. If frosting seems too thick, add extra milk. Spread over hot cake.
