Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- Add sour cream and eggs
How to make texas sheet cake:
In bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar and baking soda. Add sour cream and eggs. Mix well. In a saucepan, bring to a boil the margarine, cocoa and water. Add boiled mixture to dry ingredients. Mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 15 x 10 x 1 cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Frost cake while still warm.Frosting:1 lb. box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped pecans1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk In bowl, mix powdered sugar and pecans. In saucepan, bring to a boil the margarine, milk and cocoa. Add boiled mixture to dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Add vanilla.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
