Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 4 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- nuts optional - 1/2 c
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
How to make texas sheet cake:
Bring to boil oleo, water and cocoa. Cool. Add flour, salt, sugar, eggs, soda and sour cream. Mix well. (Batter will be very thin.) Bake in 8 x 12 x 1-inch pan for 20 minutes at 375°. Frost while warm.Frosting: Bring to boil oleo, cocoa and milk; cool. Beat in powdered sugar and vanilla. When cake cools, spread frosting.
