Texas potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 8 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- corn flakes - 1 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- dry parsley - 2 tsp
- bag hash browns - 1 (2
- 1/2 cubes butter - 1 item
How to make texas potatoes:
Mix all ingredients, except hash browns, corn flakes and 1/2 cube butter. When mixed real well, add hash browns and pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with crumbled corn flakes and the 1/2 cube butter (melted and poured over corn flakes). Spread cheese on top and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.For Variations: Add mushrooms and green onions.
