Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- corn syrup - 1 c
- pecan halves
- oleo - 1 Tbsp
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
How to make texas pecan pie:
Arrange pecans in bottom of pie shell. (If using frozen shells, use both.) Combine eggs, oleo, syrup and vanilla until well blended. Combine sugar and flour; add to egg mixture. Pour over pecans in shell(s). Let stand until pecans rise to the top. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
