Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped fresh parsley - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- green onions, chopped - 4 item
- medium green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- cans black-eyed peas, drained - 2 oz
- medium tomatoes, chopped - 2 item
- can hominy, drained - 1 1/2
- bottle Italian salad dressing - 1 oz
- jalapeno pepper, chopped - 1 item
How to make texas caviar:
Combine all ingredients except salad dressing and mix well. Pour salad dressing over mixture. Cover and marinate, chilled, at least 2 hours. Drain. Serve cold; good with chips.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Salads, Tex Mex.
