  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • milk - 6 Tbsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • chocolate
  • pecans or more - 1/2 c
  • Add the eggs and sour cream and beat for 2 minutes

How to make texas brownies:

Sift together the flour, sugar, salt and baking soda. Add the eggs and sour cream and beat for 2 minutes. Combine the margarine, water and cocoa in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add to above mixture and beat 2 more minutes. Pour into an 11 x 12 x 1-inch cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.Frosting:1 stick margarine6 Tbsp. milk1 1/2 sq. chocolate1 Tbsp. vanilla1/2 c. pecans or more1 lb. powdered sugar Melt the margarine, milk and chocolate in a pan. Add the vanilla, pecans and powdered sugar. Spread on while warm. Serves 18.
