Ingredients/Components
- soy sauce - 1 c
- sesame oil - 1/8 tsp
- clove garlic, crushed - 1/2 item
- firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated - 1 item
- flank steak, trimmed and scored - 4 small
How to make teriyaki steak:
Arrange steak(s) in a shallow dish. Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sesame oil. Blend well. Pour over steak(s). Cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 3 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Broil or barbecue to desired doneness.
