Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1/2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- seasoned salt - 1 tsp
- cucumber slices and/or yellow squash slices - 1 item
How to make tempura batter:
Mix together cornstarch, flour, seasoned salt and paprika. Add egg and water. Beat until smooth. Dip fresh cucumbers or yellow squash in batter and fry in hot oil. Eat while hot.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Appetizers, Asian.
