  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • soft butter - 1/2 c
  • self-rising flour
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • flour for good consistency - 1 item

How to make tea cakes:

Cream butter, sugar, egg, milk and vanilla. Sift flour and add to creamed mixture. Chill, roll out; cut and bake on greased baking sheet in 375° oven for about 8 minutes.
