Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 item
- butter - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 6 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
How to make tea cakes:
Cream butter, egg and sugar. Mix soda with buttermilk and add to mixture. Add vanilla. Add enough flour to make dough, roll out and cut. Bake at 400° until brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Breads, Coffee cakes.
