  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 item
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • buttermilk - 6 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item

How to make tea cakes:

Cream butter, egg and sugar. Mix soda with buttermilk and add to mixture. Add vanilla. Add enough flour to make dough, roll out and cut. Bake at 400° until brown.
