Ingredients/Components
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can water - 2/3 item
- small onion, diced - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste - 1 item
- frozen Tater Tots - 1 pkg
- Brown ground beef with onion; drain and season to taste
How to make tater tot casserole:
Preheat oven to 350°. Brown ground beef with onion; drain and season to taste. Spread meat into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Combine 2 cans of soup and 2/3 cup of water. Blend well. Pour over cheese. Place frozen Tater Tots decoratively over top of soup. Bake in 350° oven for 45 to 55 minutes until Tater Tots are golden brown.Variations: Add 1 cup frozen peas to soup mixture.Use 2 cups diced, cooked chicken instead of ground beef and add 1 can of whole kernel corn in soup layer.
