Tangy pork chops
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 Tbsp
- cider vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 1/2
- ketchup - 1/2 c
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- hot cooked rice - 1 item
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- celery ribs, chopped - 2 item
- large green pepper, sliced - 1 item
- pork chops 1/2-inch thick - 4 item
How to make tangy pork chops:
Place chops in a slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add onions, pepper, celery and tomatoes. Combine ketchup, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and bouillon. Pour over chops and vegetables. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 to 6 hours. Mix cornstarch and water until smooth and stir in slow cooker.
