Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- plain flour - 1/2 c
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- tomato juice - 3/4 c
- mild sausage - 1 lb
- lb ground beef - 1 item
- plain corn meal - 1 c
- Sauce:1 large can tomato juice
How to make tamale balls:
Sauce:1 large can tomato juice2 Tbsp. chili powder Mix all ingredients except sauce ingredients. Make into balls. Mix 1 large can tomato juice with 2 tablespoons chili powder and 2 teaspoons salt. Drop balls into juice mixture and cook very slowly on top of stove for 2 hours. Stir occasionally and watch for scorching.
