Taco soup
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- water
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- can Ro-Tel tomatoes - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- lean ground beef - 2 lb
- can chopped green chilies - 1 oz
- can kidney beans - 1 item
- cans stewed tomatoes - 2 oz
- can pinto beans - 1 item
- can white hominy - 1 item
- can yellow hominy - 1 item
How to make taco soup:
Brown ground beef with onions and chilies in large pan. Drain well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve with Fritos, grated cheese and sour cream. Place crushed Fritos in bowl, ladle in soup and top with grated cheese and sour cream.From the recipe collection of Ginna Walker.
