Ingredients/Components
- can Ro-Tel tomatoes - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- clove garlic, chopped - 1 item
- can whole kernel corn - 1 item
- can red kidney beans - 1 item
- taco seasoning - 1 pkg
- can pinto beans - 1 item
- Ranch dressing - 1 pkg
- can hominy - 1 item
- ground beef or chuck - 2 lb
- cans tomatoes, chopped - 2 item
How to make taco soup:
Brown meat, onion and garlic; drain. Put into large pot. Add other ingredients, liquid and all. Cook as long as possible, the longer the better (until all is tender). Serve with corn chips. Top with sour cream, grated cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and taco sauce if desired. (I use cornbread.)Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, Ground beef.
