Ingredients/Components
- Velveeta cheese - 1 lb
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- chopped green pepper - 1 item
- chopped green onion - 1 c
- cumin - 1 Tbsp
- large head lettuce - 1 item
- garlic buds, crushed - 3 item
- or 3 tomatoes - 2 item
- ground meat, browned - 1 lb
- large bag king size Fritos - 1 item
- can Ro-Tel tomato sauce - 1 item
How to make taco salad:
Melt Velveeta cheese in double boiler; add tomato sauce, garlic, cumin and chili powder to melted cheese. Combine lettuce, tomatoes and crushed Fritos in large bowl. Add hamburger, green onion and green pepper. Pour hot mixture over salad.Recipe categories: Salads, Main dish, Beans.
