Taco salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- sliced green onions - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- torn lettuce - 2 c
- ripe olives - 6 item
- can tomatoes - 18 oz
- corn chips - 1/2 c
- can jalapeno bean dip
- shredded sharp American or Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
How to make taco salad:
Brown meat; drain. Cut up tomatoes. Combine lettuce, cheese, onions, olives and tomatoes. Into meat, stir tomato liquid, bean dip, chili powder and salt. Bring to a boil. Add to lettuce mixture; toss well. Top with chips. Serve at once. Makes 2 servings.Recipe categories: Salads, Main dish, Beans.
