Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- sour cream - 16 oz
- ground beef
- taco seasoning mix - 2 pkg
- tomatoes - 2 item
- head lettuce - 1 item
- bag tortilla chips - 1 item
- jar taco sauce I use Old El Paso - 1 item
How to make taco dip:
Brown ground beef and drain fat. Add 1 1/2 packages taco seasoning mix and water according to directions on seasoning mix. Simmer according to seasoning mix directions.In a small bowl, mix sour cream with remaining seasoning mix. Set aside. Chop lettuce into approximately 1-inch squares. (You will need about 2/3 head.) Dice tomatoes. In a baking dish, layer ingredients as such: beef on bottom of dish, taco sauce (jar), sour cream, shredded Cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Use tortilla chips to dip.
