Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • shredded lettuce - 1 item
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • onion, chopped - 1/2 c
  • tomato sauce - 8 oz
  • corn chips - 2 c
  • taco seasoning - 1 pkg

How to make taco casserole:

Saut?© onion in butter, blend in flour; gradually add tomato sauce, water and taco seasoning. Mix until smooth, cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Stir in browned meat. Pour into casserole dish, bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Cover with corn chips, cheese and lettuce before serving.
