Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- lemon juice - 1/3 c
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- bulgur wheat - 1 c
- chopped black olives - 1/2 c
- tomatoes, chopped - 2 item
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- green onions - 1/4 c
How to make tabouli:
Pour boiling water over bulgur wheat; let set for 1/2 hour. In separate bowl, mix together oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic powder, then stir. Add tomatoes and olives to wheat mixture; mix. Next pour in oil mixture and stir well. Chill for a few hours, then serve.Recipe categories: Low protein, Lunch/snacks, Salads.
