Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • lemon juice - 1/3 c
  • garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
  • bulgur wheat - 1 c
  • chopped black olives - 1/2 c
  • tomatoes, chopped - 2 item
  • olive oil - 1/4 c
  • green onions - 1/4 c

How to make tabouli:

Pour boiling water over bulgur wheat; let set for 1/2 hour. In separate bowl, mix together oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic powder, then stir. Add tomatoes and olives to wheat mixture; mix. Next pour in oil mixture and stir well. Chill for a few hours, then serve.
