Ingredients/Components
- boiling water
- chopped fresh parsley - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- Feta cheese - 1 item
- chopped scallions - 1/2 c
- medium tomatoes, chopped - 2 item
- cloves garlic, chopped fine - 2 item
- good olive oil - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- bulgar wheat - 1 c
- fresh mint, leave choppy - 1 c
How to make tabouleh:
If using raw bulgur, soak 3 hours in boiling water. Drain. Add salt, lemon juice, chopped scallion, olive oil, garlic and chill in refrigerator at least 2 hours. Add tomato, parsley and mint; place in lettuce-lined bowl. Trim with crumbled Feta cheese.Recipe categories: Southwest asia (middle east), Asian, Lebanese.
