Swiss vegetable medley
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/3 c
- 8 oz
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 3/4
- ground black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- shredded Swiss cheese - 1 c
- bag mixed vegetables broccoli, carrots and cauliflower combination, thawed and drained any combination will work - 1 (16
- jar chopped pimento, drained optional - 1 oz
How to make swiss vegetable medley:
Combine vegetables, soup, 1/2 cheese, sour cream, pepper, pimento and 1/2 can of onion rings. Pour into a 1-quart casserole. Bake, covered, at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove from pan and top with remaining cheese and onion rings. Bake, uncovered, another 5 minutes. (I usually double or triple this for a family of 7 as they all like it so well, and it is good for leftovers. Allow extra time for cooking when doing this.) Serves 6.Preparation Time: 5 minutes.
