Ingredients/Components
- large onion - 1 item
- small can mushroom caps - 1 item
- beef round steak or London broil - 1 item
How to make swiss steak:
Rub steak with flour. Season with salt and pepper. Sear in frying pan in oil. Remove and place in casserole dish. In the same pan, saute onion and mushrooms. Pour over steak. Cover meat with 1 inch of water. Bake in oven, covered, for 2 hours at 350°. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
