Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1/4 tsp
- 2 can tomatoes
- sliced onions - 2 item
- round steak - 2 lb
How to make swiss steak:
Combine flour, salt and pepper. Beat into sides of steak. Cut steak into equal parts. Brown on each side in oil. Place onions on top of meat. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour over steak. Cover and simmer slowly 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until tender.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
