Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1/4 C
  • chopped onions - 1/4 C
  • dash pepper - 1 item
  • round steak, 3/4 inch thick
  • canned chopped tomatoes - 1/4 C

How to make swiss steak:

Cut round steak into bite size pieces. In skillet brown steak in 2 Tbsp. of oil. Pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients, cover, simmer 1 1/2 hours. Stir often.
