Swiss potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- slices Swiss cheese - 12 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- mayonnaise
- potatoes - 6 lb
- bunches green onions, chopped - 2 item
- jars chopped pimientos - 2 oz
- salad olives, chopped optional - 1 c
How to make swiss potato casserole:
Cook potatoes until done; peel and cut in chunks. Add pimientos, olives, green onions, 8 slices cheese (cut in cubes) and mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper. Place in oblong 2-quart casserole. Top with remaining slices of cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Serves 12.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Cheese.
