- eggs - 6 item
- grated cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 1 item
- cream or evaporated milk - 1/4 c
- additional grated cheese - 1/2 1
How to make swiss eggs:
Preheat oven to 375°. Cover bottom of a shallow greased casserole with 1 cup grated cheese. Make 6 depressions in cheese. Slide an egg into each depression. Sprinkle with cream or milk, salt, pepper and parsley. Top with 1/2 to 1 cup additional grated cheese. Bake 25 minutes or until eggs are firm but not hard.
