Swiss cheese bread
Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- butter, melted - 1 c
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- poppy seed - 1 tsp
- loaf Italian bread, unsliced - 1 item
- minced onion - 2 Tbsp
- seasoned salt - 1 tsp
- can mushrooms optional - 1 item
- Swiss cheese, sliced thin - 1 lb
How to make swiss cheese bread:
Slice bread diagonally. Place Swiss cheese in every slice. Put bread on foil on cookie sheet. Mix the remaining ingredients with the melted butter. Pour over bread. Seal foil. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes. Serve warm.Recipe categories: Breads, Lunch/snacks, Appetizers.
