Sweet potatoes with marshmallows
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
- light cream or milk - 1/3 c
- large marshmallows, halved - 8 item
- cinnamon-sugar - 1 Tbsp
- sweet potatoes or yams, drained and peeled about 4 large - 2 lb
- Add cream, beating potatoes until creamy and fluffy
How to make sweet potatoes with marshmallows:
Mash potatoes; blend in butter, brown sugar, cinnamon-sugar and salt. Add cream, beating potatoes until creamy and fluffy. Turn into a 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish or shallow 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
