Sweet potato souffle
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 1/3 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- melted margarine - 1/3 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- large can sweet potatoes - 1 item
- sugar less if desired - 1 c
How to make sweet potato souffle:
Heat potatoes in syrup; drain and whip until fluffy. Add butter and other ingredients. Beat well (I use mixer). Pour into buttered casserole. Bake about 2 minutes at 350°. While baking, prepare the topping.Melt margarine. Mix sugar, flour and pecans. Add to margarine. Mix well and spread on top of casserole. Return to oven for about 10 minutes or until firm.
