Sweet potato souffle
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- miniature marshmallows - 1 item
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- medium sweet potatoes - 5 item
How to make sweet potato souffle:
Boil sweet potatoes and then mash. Combine all ingredients except marshmallows; beat until fluffy. Bake at 350° until lightly browned. Then add marshmallows to top and return to oven until golden brown. For a variation pumpkin or squash can be substituted for the sweet potatoes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
