Sweet potato souffle
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- mashed sweet potatoes - 2 c
- stick melted oleo - 1/2 item
- granulated sugar - 3/4 c
- milk if canned sweet potatoes, 1/2 c - 1 c
- Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes
How to make sweet potato souffle:
Mix all ingredients well and pour into greased casserole dish. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes. While hot, make topping.Topping:1/2 c. crushed cornflakes1/2 c. chopped nuts1/2 c. melted margarine1/2 c. brown sugar Mix topping ingredients together and spread evenly over baked casserole and return to oven for 10 minutes still at 400°.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
