  • cinnamon
  • milk - 1 c
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • nutmeg
  • egg - 1 item
  • unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
  • strained, mashed sweet potatoes

How to make sweet potato pie:

Combine first 7 ingredients and spices in bowl; mix until smooth. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with additional nutmeg. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 375° and bake for 30 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
