Sweet potato custard
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/4 lb
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
- evaporated sweet milk - 1 c
How to make sweet potato custard:
Combine all ingredients using electric mixer. Beat until light and fluffy. Pour into 9-inch pie shells. Bake at 350° until a knife stuck in the middle is clean. Brush brown sugar over top of pies and on crust. This make 2 pies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Yam/sweet potato, Bananas.
