Sweet potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- brown sugar
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- margarine - 1/2 c
- margarine, melted - 1/3 c
- mashed sweet potatoes - 3 c
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/3 c. margarine, melted1/2 c. flour1 c. chopped pecans Combine ingredients. (Use canned sweet potatoes and mash with a fork.) Mix well and pour into a glass, buttered baking dish.Topping: Mix well. (Mixture will be crumbly.) Sprinkle on top of sweet potato mixture. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Do not overbake. Best when cooled a little at room temperature.
