Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • margarine, melted - 1/3 c
  • mashed sweet potatoes - 3 c

How to make sweet potato casserole:

Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/3 c. margarine, melted1/2 c. flour1 c. chopped pecans Combine ingredients. (Use canned sweet potatoes and mash with a fork.) Mix well and pour into a glass, buttered baking dish.

Topping: Mix well. (Mixture will be crumbly.) Sprinkle on top of sweet potato mixture. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Do not overbake. Best when cooled a little at room temperature.
