Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/3 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- stick butter or margarine - 1/2 item
- stick melted butter or margarine - 1/2 item
- mashed, cooked sweet potatoes - 3 c
- Mix well and pour into 2-quart casserole dish
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Combine potatoes, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk. Mix well and pour into 2-quart casserole dish.Topping:1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar1/2 c. all-purpose flour1/2 stick butter or margarine1 c. chopped pecans Mix together well and sprinkle on top of sweet potato mixture.
