Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • milk - 1/3 c
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • stick butter or margarine - 1/2 item
  • stick melted butter or margarine - 1/2 item
  • mashed, cooked sweet potatoes - 3 c
  • Mix well and pour into 2-quart casserole dish

How to make sweet potato casserole:

Combine potatoes, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk. Mix well and pour into 2-quart casserole dish.Topping:1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar1/2 c. all-purpose flour1/2 stick butter or margarine1 c. chopped pecans Mix together well and sprinkle on top of sweet potato mixture. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Great for the holidays.
