  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans
  • milk - 1/3 c
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • oleo - 1/3 c
  • stick softened margarine - 1 item
  • marshmallows optional - 1 item
  • cooked yams - 3 c

How to make sweet potato casserole:

Topping:1 c. chopped pecans1 c. brown sugar1/3 c. flour1/3 c. oleo marshmallows (optional) Combine all ingredients in baking dish.

Mix topping ingredients and crumble over potatoes. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Marshmallows may be added to topping the last few minutes of baking.
