  • evaporated milk - 1 c
  • coconut - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • mashed sweet potatoes use canned - 2 c
  • Put in greased casserole and bake 45 minutes in 350° oven
  • bottle red cherries, chopped, use juice also - 1 oz

How to make sweet potato casserole:

Mix all ingredients well. Put in greased casserole and bake 45 minutes in 350° oven.Topping:1 small can crushed pineapple, use juice also1 (8 oz.) bottle red cherries, chopped, use juice also1 c. sugar2 Tbsp. cornstarch Mix all. Cook over low heat until glazed and pour over casserole. Cook in oven 10 minutes.
