Sweet potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped pecans - 1/3 c
- milk - 1/3 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/3 c
- medium sweet potatoes - 6 item
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Cook sweet potatoes in boiling water 45 minutes to 1 hour. Let cool. Peel and mash. Combine potatoes, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk and 1/2 cup butter. Beat at medium speed until smooth. Spoon into lightly greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.Combine brown sugar, pecans, flour and 2 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle mixture over casserole. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
