Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/3 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • brown sugar - 1/3 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • flaked coconut - 1/3 c
  • butter or margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
  • pecans, chopped - 1/3 c
  • hot mashed sweet potatoes - 4 c

How to make sweet potato casserole:

Mix sweet potatoes, 1/3 cup butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and milk. Pour mixture into a 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish. Combine pecans, coconut, brown sugar and flour; stir in melted butter. Sprinkle mixture over sweet potatoes. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
